His current research interests include stochastic analysis of low level vision, computer vision for autonomous guided vehicles, geometry and algebra of multiple views of points, curves and surfaces, cognitive vision, handwriting-recognition and medical image analysis.

Assistant Professor Åsa Fast-Berglund is project leader and founder of the fourth innovation lab at Chalmers CSILab with focus on digitalization and customization in final assembly systems. Åsa works as an Assistant Professor at Chalmers University and is the leader for a research group within human-automation optimization.

Assistant Professor Tapani Raiko research interests include fundamentals of deep learning, and new algorithms and methods in machine learning in general.  Raiko's logical hidden Markov models are used in Apple's Siri system. His robotic grasping solution is used in the ZenRobotics recycler. His deep learning optimization framework has been adopted and further developed by Google and Google DeepMind.

Patrick Doherty is a Professor of Computer Science, Linköping University, Sweden. He heads the Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Computer Systems Division at IDA. He also serves as co-director of LinkLab, which is a collaborative endeavor between Linköping University and Saab Aero Systems. He is an ECCAI fellow and currently an  ECCAI board member. His main areas of interest are knowledge representation, automated planning, intelligent autonomous systems and multi-agent systems.
